Prayer is a very important part of mission life. 

Here is today’s report!

  1. New Years’ Eve Service – Saturday, December 31st at 7:00 pm. 400 W. Abram Street. Come early for prayer and preparation;
  2. Pray – For Mandy’s mom in the hospital;
  3. Davis Simon – Arrived yesterday. 6 lbs and 15 oz. Pray for him, Ashley, and Jason;
  4. Thank God – For all He has done for 2016. We praise His name;
  5. Prayer Circle – Pray a prayer of thanksgiving for all the donors who brought gifts and resources for the store and year end;
  6. Scripture – “Never will I leave you or forsake you.” “Hebrews 13:5

  1. Davis Alexander Simon – 6 lbs, 15 oz., 20 in. long. Born at 10:42 last night to Jason and Ashley. Prayer and praise;
  2. New Years Eve Prayer Service – Saturday evening, December 31st at 7:00 pm. We will close the mission at 6:00 pm;
  3. Visitations – Follow up visits for the Christmas Store. See Tillie if you do not have yours;
  4. Pray – For Mandy’s Mom in the hospital;
  5. Prayer Circle – Pray a prayer of thanksgiving for all of the volunteers who came during the Christmas Store under God’s invitation. They were all a blessing;
  6. Scripture – “When we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6

  1. Wednesday Night Bible Study – 7:30 pm. Meet in the front room;
  2. Prayer Service – Saturday evening, December 31st, New Year’s Eve prayer service at 7:00 pm. We close the mission at 6:00 pm;
  3. Follow up visits for the Christmas Store – See Tillie if you do not have yours;
  4. Pray;
  5. Prayer Circle – Pray for the Mission Arlington workers as we all prepare to begin making the home visits to those who made decisions during the Christmas Store;
  6. Scripture – “Jesus often withdrew to quiet places and prayed.” 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28

  4. Pray – For the people as they come in the Christmas Store;
  5. Prayer Circle – Pray that we have not missed anyone whom God has ordained to come to the Christmas Store;

Volunteers help to deliver over  1,000 bikes that are being delivered now!

  1. Mission Metroplex Board Meeting – is tonight at 6:00 pm;
  2. Christmas Store Attendance – 18,268 in attendance, 788 decisions, 202 trusted Christ;
  3. Christmas Day – We will have church service on Christmas Day – (no 4:00 pm);
  4. Pray – for all the people to hear the message of hope;
  5. Prayer Circle – Pray for the visits that will need to be made as people at the Christmas Store are making decisions. They are filling out cards and saying, “Come to see me and tell me more about Jesus.”
  6. Scripture – “He who humbles himself will be exalted.” Matthew 28:12
