Preparation for the Christmas Store

Here is today’s report!

  1. Wednesday Night Bible Study – 7:30 pm. Meet in the front room;
  2. Christmas Banquet – Friday at 6:30 pm. Hosted by Spring Creek. Bring your people;
  3. Bible Study Christmas Store – Saturday morning, December 3rd. Invite new people. Spend time with your people;
  4. Prayer Circle – Pray a prayer of Thanksgiving for those who gave money and turkeys/canned goods so we could have the food needed to put in the boxes;
  5. Scripture – “I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep.” John 10:11

  1. Christmas Banquet – Friday night 6:30, Christmas Banquet, December 2nd. Bring your leadership;
  2. Bible Study Christmas Store – Saturday Christmas Store – December 3rd. Store open 10:00-6:00;
  3. Christmas Store – Christmas Store open December 10-23, 10:00-6:00;
  4. Prayer Circle – Pray a prayer of Thanksgiving for the ones who came to work to pack the boxes for Thanksgiving Day;

  1. Ladies’ Bible Study – Ladies’ Monday Night Bible study, 7:30 p.m. Meet in the front room;
  2. Christmas Banquet – This Friday night, starting at 6:30 p.m. Spring Creek Barbeque will host us. Thank God for the gift – a special time together. Bring your leadership;
  3. Daily Prayer – 10:00 a.m. Pause to pray;

A group of pre-school students brought their donations to the Mission yesterday. You are never too small to serve God’s Kingdom!

  2. Volunteers – Begin at 8:00 am;
  3. Mission Arlington Workers – Be here at 7:30 am on Thanksgiving Day;

  5. Happy Birthday – Robert Walker, you are a blessing to us;
  6. Prayer Circle – Pray for protection of the mission. Our truck drivers need prayer;
  7. Scripture – “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31

Many turkeys are needed for the 5,000+ families receiving Thanksgiving meals this year! Above features Arlington JROTC students preparing and moving some of the turkeys.

  1. Thanksgiving Day – November 24th. We take turkey baskets and hot meals to the people;
  2. Volunteers – Begin at 8:00 am;
  3. Mission Arlington Workers – Be here at 7:30 am on Thanksgiving Day;
  4. Special Training – On Sunday at 4:00 pm in preparation for taking the food to the people;
  5. Pray – Without ceasing;
  6. Prayer Circle – Pray as we are planning and praying for the logistics of the turkeys;
  7. Scripture – “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” Matthew 6:8

Over 800 volunteers came to the Mission to prepare for Thanksgiving last Saturday.

  3. Thanksgiving List – If you need help, let Tillie know;
  4. Thanksgiving Day – Be here at 7:30 am. volunteers will be here at 8:00 am;
  5. Pause to Pray – at 10:00 am for the mission;
  6. Prayer Circle – Pray as groups come to help with Thanksgiving lists and preparation;
  7. Scripture – “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.” Matthew 5:7
