Christmas Store Information

A full “Christmas Store” at Mission Arlington in 2023. Nearly 31- thousand children (30,752) received gifts. Amazing!

What is a FREE Christmas Store?

It’s a place at Mission Arlington® “Where parents ‘shop’ to receive free gifts for their children!”  The Christmas Season is a time for celebrating our Lord, Jesus Christ, showing love to those around us, and embracing a spirit of giving.

In addition to receiving toys for their children, every adult who comes through the Christmas Store will hear the beautiful story of Christ’s birth, shared from the Scriptures and narrated by creative & faithful story-tellers. The Store is located here.

When is the FREE Christmas Store open for residents of Arlington and Grand Prairie?

In 2024, the Store will open daily from December 11th through December 23rd, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (excluding Sundays).

Can residents outside of Arlington or Grand Prairie come to the Christmas Store?

Residents who live outside of Arlington or Grand Prairie, but who still reside in Dallas or Tarrant County, can come to the store on ONE DAY ONLY: Saturday, December 21st, from 10:00 a.m. until 6 p.m.

What does someone need to bring with them to get into the Christmas Store?

You will need the following items to gain access to the Store: 1) a photo ID. 2) Proof of Address, and (3) Official documents connecting the child/children to the parent or guardian. These documents could be birth certificates, Medicaid Cards, legal, medical, or educational records. The key is that the document must have both the name of the child and the parent or guardian on the same document. For this reason, Social Security cards do not work.

Can Grandparents get gifts for their grandchildren?

We’re sorry, but we are not able to provide grandparent gifts, unless the grandparents have legal document demonstrating that they have custody of the grandchild.

Do we need to bring the children with us?

It is not necessary to bring your children with you. Only one adult will be going into the Christmas Store to represent your family, and you wouldn’t want the children to see what you are getting for them. If you don’t have help to take care of your children at home while you come to the Christmas Store, please know that Mission Arlington will provide a free childcare for your children while you are shopping for presents in the store.
