Our Commitments to You
Matthew 23:10 reminds us that we should not be called leaders, for our One true leader is Jesus Christ. God is responsible for all that has happened in and through this place, and we give Him all credit. Luke 22:26 teaches us that an effective leader will first be a servant. Our heart and our hope is to lead well, without fear, but always in the spirit of service and humility.
A Dedication to Prayer
Scripture teaches us to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). We are to be faithful both “in season and out of season” (2 Timothy 4:2). This family called Mission Arlington®/Mission Metroplex® believes in and is committed to the power of prayer. Ministry without connection to God, no matter how intense the effort, won’t be effective or fruitful over time.
Meeting Physical Needs in Jesus’ Name
Matthew 25:37ff teaches us that there is a connection between the physical and the spiritual, and that caring for people who are hurting is important to our Lord. Mission Arlington®/Mission Metroplex® wants to meet the physical needs of people wherever and whenever possible. But the greatest gift we have to offer is the free gift of God’s love for each one through His son in Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
The Bible as a Foundation For Ministry
We believe that the Scriptures are inspired by God and are profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). We love the Lord and His word. Today we host Bible studies in about 354 locations around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Love For All People
When the angels announced the news of Jesus’ birth to the Shepherds, they proclaimed clearly that the gospel was good news for “all people” (Luke 2:10). Each and every person matters to God. No person is beyond the reach of His love. The truth is that we have been recipients of that love. It is our joy to pass it along to each one who comes along our path.
The ministries at Mission Arlington®/Mission Metroplex® continue to evolve in response to the needs of our community.
