Our Last Week

Rainbow Express^® is in its last week for the Spring. Twenty-five (25) students are here from Calvary Baptist Church in Lumberton, TX, leading these creative, meaningful backyard Bible club events each afternoon, when the students get out of school.  Rainbow Express is well attended everywhere we go, because it is just so much fun for the kids.

A Wonderful Spring Experience

Rainbow Express^® in the Spring happens over a period of about five weeks, from the first week of March through the first week of April. Thirty-eight (38) student groups have served over this period from eight different states (Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee) and, of course, multiple Texas cities.

An Effective Experience

During Arlington & Grand Prairie’s Spring Break, our largest week, we held Rainbow Express^® in 51 different locations across our community.  All together, we hosted these four-day events in 75 different apartment communities and neighborhoods with a total attendance of 5,613 children.  Ninety (90) young people accepted Christ over this time period.  What a blessing.

More to Come

We are so grateful for the privilege we have of sharing God’s love through the ministry of Rainbow Express.^® We will take a short break, then begin again in late May and run through the Summer. This active & engaging ministry of Mission Arlington^® is one of our more effective methods of sharing God’s love.
