DBU Students Swarm Mission Arlington

Friday, August 22, 2014 5:25 PM

Dallas Baptist University has what they call a “SWAT“ week, meaning “Student Welcome and Transition.” The University helps incoming freshmen to get oriented to the school in a fun and refreshing way. One part of this exciting and fun weekend for the students is a day of service.

DBU sends these students out to serve in multiple locations all across the DFW Metroplex.  They sent 300 students to Mission Arlington today.

These students loaded up thousands of bottles of water into 3 big buses. They took the water out into the community to hand out to families in fifteen (15) different locations.

Afterwards, these active and energetic college freshmen led a “one day” Mission Arlington® “Rainbow Express.” They played with children throughout the community, while sharing God’s Word.

What a great day this has been!  For pictures of this event, check out our Facebook page here.

Thank you for all you do to support the work of Mission Arlington®.
